Registrations for September 2025 are now open. Go to our registration page to complete the process.

For information about ECTs starting before April 2025, please go to our Legacy ECF Pages

As an ECTE mentor, you are probably the most important source of support for your ECT. You can see an outline of your responsibilities in the graphic opposite.

Mentor training lasts for one year, you can see details below. Once complete, mentors are qualified to support any ECT through their entitlements.

After you completing the year of training, you will be fully qualified to continue supporting and coaching ECTs.

Mentor Training Event Structure

Mentors on the new programme benefit from a one year training programme. You can see the structure of the mentor training course in the graphic opposite.
